The next state Executive Committee meeting of the CPWV will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Shoney’s Restaurant in St. Albans, WV from 12:00 noon to 2pm. Note that this is deliberately planned to be a short meeting so that we can spend the remainder of the day circulating our ballot access petitions at the St. Albans River Fest (2010 signature deadline is July 30 – Phil Hudok for Congress). As such, we will follow just a basic agenda of officer reports and old business follow-up, with no discussion of platform items. Resolutions and new business will be included only as time permits.
Those of you who can arrive early, there is a 5k run-walk at 8am followed by a parade beginning at 11am (lineup at 10am, St. Francis Church on 6th Ave.). Parade routes are an excellent opportunity to present our petitions to the public. People will be there as early as 8am reserving their viewing seats. After the meeting there is kid’s tractor pull at 4pm. Also at 4:00 is a performance by the Crossroads Blues Band of WV followed by the South Of The River Band and then a fireworks display at dusk.

Cross river to St. Albans / McCorkle Ave.
